CUBE’s Latest Features for Construction Management – V3.1
At CUBE, we’re committed to building tools that reflect how real construction teams work in the field, in the office, and everywhere in between. The CUBE V3.1 release introduces powerful updates that simplify estimation, supercharge BIM takeoffs, centralize reviews, and automate routine workflows all to help you get more done with fewer clicks.

CUBE is constantly evolving to meet the real-world needs of construction teams delivering smarter tools, faster workflows and greater control at every stage. With the V3.1 release, we’ve focused on reducing manual effort, improving clarity and enhancing coordination across estimations, scheduling, reviews and BIM.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new in CUBE V3.1 this quarter.
Faster estimation, fewer clicks
Estimates can now be exported to PDF and excel formats, making it easier to share, report and analyze. Comments can be added to each version, ensuring a clear audit trail and update history. You can also start estimates with manual items and add, remove or convert associations at any time for greater flexibility and control.
Multiple BOQ items can now be deleted at once, enabling faster cleanup and more efficient estimate management.

Granular Permissions for Estimates
Estimates now come with the same detailed permission controls you’re used to with Files and Spaces. You can define who can view, edit or manage Estimates at a granular level ensuring sensitive cost data is only accessible to the right users. This not only protects your budget details but also adds clarity and control across financial workflows.

Smarter forms, ready to scale
Forms enabled workflows are now more versatile than ever, teams can add CUBE links or external URLs directly in web and mobile forms for quick access to supporting documents and tools.
Setting up forms is faster with the ability to duplicate levels, while the new rollback option lets you revert to a previous state instantly.

Streamlined Review Workflows with Full Transparency
Review related tasks are now centralized, making it easier for individuals to track and act on what needs their attention. A new unified dashboard displays all pending data across Reviews and projects, helping users prioritize what needs attention.
We’ve also introduced support for embedded Containers in Reviews, allowing richer, more interactive content to be reviewed directly within the platform.

Precise control in BIM and takeoffs
Navigating models and extracting data is now more fluid. You can now orbit around multiple selected elements within a BIM model, making it easier to view and manipulate complex assemblies from all angles.
For Takeoffs, multiple measurements can now be added simultaneously, reducing repetition. Plus, you can isolate or hide elements linked to Takeoffs to quickly identify unmapped items giving you better control over your quantities.

File workflows, now fully automated
We’ve automated routine steps to help teams stay focused. Files now automatically update their status once uploaded, removing manual steps and ensuring consistency. Notifications from the CUBE Mailbox can now be received directly in Gmail or Outlook, keeping everyone informed in real-time.
We’ve also added a quick password reset within the app for faster support.

Schedules built for real-world complexity
Schedules now offer greater flexibility and precision. You can define resource pools directly within a schedule to streamline planning across teams.
Resources are allocated by default and can be adjusted instantly, offering project managers enhanced control and precision in planning. This update ensures that scheduling remains both flexible and streamlined.

Centralized collaboration across modules
We're making it easier to stay in context as you move through different workflows. With Reviews, Forms, and Files now accessible from a single place within each form, your teams can work more fluidly without switching tabs or losing track of the bigger picture.
Whether you're reviewing drawings or updating data, everything you need is now right where you need it.

Inline Editing for Smarter Scheduling
Schedules in CUBE are now more efficient and user-friendly. Project teams can directly edit tasks, durations, and dates within the schedule view, eliminating the need to navigate between multiple screens.

Features to look out for!
Innovation at CUBE never slows down. As we continue to build with the industry’s evolving demands in mind, our next release brings updates that make everyday tasks more precise, more intuitive, and more connected from field activity tracking to faster estimate management.
Soon, forms will support GPS tagging, allowing users to capture the exact location of an entry alongside the date and time bringing a new layer of verification and authenticity to on-site reporting. Estimation workflows will also see a boost, with the ability to select and delete multiple takeoffs in one go, making it easier to manage and clean up complex estimates without repetitive effort.
These upcoming updates are designed to support teams where they work best on site, in sync, and in control.
